2025 is another year that the global and Thai economies must face uncertainty from many factors, including the slowdown in some regions, volatility in energy prices and interest rates, as well as geopolitical tensions that directly impact business supply chains and costs. At the same time, businesses around the world are under pressure from the transition to a low-carbon economy, which is a challenge that requires serious adaptation.

The Company has upgraded its operations to align with this wave of change. The success of expanding our cooperation network with international business partners has allowed us to increase our competitiveness by leaps and bounds. Currently, we not only focus on financial agility but also emphasize the application of smart technologies to enhance operational efficiency in all dimensions.

Amidst this context, Union Petrochemical Public Company Limited, as a leader in solvent import and distribution, remains focused on efficient and transparent supply chain management. In 2025, the Company achieved a major milestone in launching the Rojana Laem Chabang Industrial Estate Warehouse. The opening of this distribution center not only helps increase agility in serving customers in the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) area, but is also a key strategy in reducing transportation distances, which helps reduce operational costs, energy consumption, and greenhouse gas emissions, thereby strengthening sustainable competitiveness.

In addition, the business operations of UKEM Clean Solutions (Thailand) Co., Ltd. in solvent recycling, resulting from cooperation with expert partners from Japan, has fully stepped up as the Company's prototype model for Green Business. This reflects the practical application of the ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) concept, not just at the policy level, but creating economic value alongside sustainable environmental care.
